Forums

 Greetings all -

I can't elaborate enough about how much Manager Tools and Career Tools have helped my career.  I am 7+ years post undergraduate and I am currently an individual contributor at a (sadly, poorly managed) non-profit organization.  I'm looking to move to a position of increased responsibility and leadership - though most likely not at the same organization.  I am an avid fan of the Interviewing Series - I'm thankful for M+M for sharing knowledge and wisdom.

Forgive me for my late start, I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone - I specifically set up this login so that I won't be as hesitant to share my experiences without fear of recognition/retribution.  (Hope that's okay?)

I'm a Transplant from Tampa Bay to DC (Rockville).  Keep your eye on the Meet-up forum for local MT's.

As Mark says, the way to change your management is to perform, get promoted, and become the manager.

Welcome to the forums...

For the welcome.

John, I'm working to get better everyday - never knew there was so much I didn't know!

Cheers,

Flannel & D-

I just posted about wanting to participate / coordinate a Manager Tools Study / Support Group in the DC area.  Let me know if either of you are interested!

Wow, just happened to stumble upon this today while researching on old MT podcast.  Live an hour from DC but work in DC.  Interested.  Curious to hear more about what you're thinking in terms of a study group.
