Hello! My name is Sam and I'm a front line Supervisor for a distribution center. I have 26 employees that I am responsible for and I was promoted to the Supervisor position a little over 2 years ago. I am responsible for monitoring quality, production, attendance and team development. My off time is spent with my family mostly although I find time to play guitar and surf the internet here and there. I discovered the Manager Tools podcast about a month ago after attending a DDI development class where the suggestion was made to read more books and listen to podcasts based on personal and professional development. I have chain listened to episodes ever since and I feel that in the past month, I have learned more about being an effective leader than I have in the past 2 years. I look forward to meeting you and I'm sure at some point and time you will lend a hand when I need it.
