Oops on the Resume

Somewhat embarassingly, since I frequently proof resumes for friends, I have discovered a glaring error on my resume; glaring as in it [i]said[/i] "Raleigh, N" instead of "Raleigh, NC". Oops.

Question - is it worth resending cold-call resumes for job hunting? Yes, I know, networking, get the job before HR gets into it, etc...but you don't always have contacts at a company and cold-call resumes can be used, even if they're not very effective.

Wait a year for the previous resume to get flushed out of the system? Attempt to correct it? Presume that what I sent before is already in the circular file (the round one next to the desk, aka a trash can)?
