Has any of you tried SkillPath Seminars? Are they worth the money & time?

Yes. Some are, most are not. I was stunned at how poor one was about succession planning. It was really bad and the presenter not any good either.

(I have been told my standards are too high, but this was awful by others' standards too.)

I did one several years ago--perhaps over a decade ago. I am a high "C" and high "D"...I was probably rolling my eyes most of the time. I was already an experienced manager at the time and found some of the material painfully obvious.

Although I may have a different perspective today...when I look back at my notes I still shake my head. Your experience and trainer may be quite different.

Thanks, I probably won't bother then! :D

When the trainer started the session by having us all "give ourselves a hand for attending"...applause before you have even finished a cup of coffee or done anything was just silly to me. Such a technique may work as an ice breaker for some people but not for me.
