During the meeting podcsts there was a mention to a "parking lot". Could someone elaborate on this? Is this somewhere you place topics not pertinent to the meeting to the side for future use?

This concept is introduced in the effective meetings casts, August 1, 8 and 15, 2005.
Parking Lot
Cal, you've got the concept right. It's the place for all the 'rabbit holes' to go that come up in the course of a meeting.
At the end of the meeting, you can decide to deal with those items, table them for later, or put them into another format to deal with.
If you go back to those meeting podcasts, there's a section just on the parking lot (probably on the last one).
