I have no connection with this article or this website.
But as a CIO and I know that a lot of the listeners are in IT team management this is a great article that goes to the heart of Horstmann's Philosophy - it is [u]all [/u]about the people. If you think running an IT team is about anything else go back and look at rule 1.

Manager Tools and a lot of related reading over the past few months have really shown me the importance of relationships. Mark's quick talk about how [u]Results[/u] + [u]Relationships[/u] = [b][u]Enduring Success[/u][/b] has put it into pretty simple terms. Seeing this same info from other sources, such as this article, reinforces that.
