Hi

have someone read the book "Management Rewired: Why Feedback Doesn't Work and Other Surprising Lessons from the Latest Brain Science", Charles S. Jacobs?

Any comment?

I haven't read the book, but I listened to a 30-minute interview with the author that you can find here.  Basically, his premise is that adjusting feedback causes the person you are giving feedback to to have a negative reaction in order to spite you.  In his examples, though, what he is describing is not feedback.  He never talks about the "what can you do differently" part wherein the person OWNS their corrective behavior, which also has roots in the psychological approach he seems to espouse.

Also, he doesn't talk at all about positive feedback which is an essential part of the process.

Again, I haven't read the book so I may be way off base.
