I've been lurking for a while on these forums, but I just had to share this!
I had an interview this morning and I had recently listened to one of the podcasts that recommended smiling. Smiling my way through the interview gave me confidence during the interview and I think it helped show my enthusiasm for the job.
I think the interview went well, so we'll see what happens next!
Fingers crossed - hope it worked out for you
Smiling is surely one of the things I look for FIRST. It shows that you can push past the stress of an interview and project yourself professionally and positively in even the most difficult circumstances. I once hired an admin (who was qualified) almost exclusively on the fact that she made the interview on time, with a big smile, even though her power went out and she had to drive to a friend's house to dry her hair. She did very well.
