I have a trusted colleague conducting qualitative research. Hours of interviews will require verbatim transcription. Has anyone in the MT community engaged such services and can recommend a firm?

In my limited experience, I have only used transcription about 5 times. 2 medical, 2 business and 1 law. I suspect there are other subspecialties. My ex's sister was trained in med and law and had to beat clients off with a stick. She worked out of her house. Depending on what your colleague needs, he/she might want to go the lower cost independent route.
