Has anyone read Switch?  Is it worth the $9.99 for the Kindle version?

Thanks.

I bought the dead tree version because I really liked their previous book and their Fast Company column.  There's a good mix of research and anecdotes and has been an enjoyable read.  It's more actionable than most books of this type that I read.

Switch has been one of my favorite reads in a long time.  It dissects many of the obstacles that arise when you are looking to drive change.  And while the title implies that the book refers to big, meaty, difficult changes, I see it being equally applicable to small day-to-day changes (e.g., feedback).

I have a small gripe with the use of the Rider/Elephant analogy as I found it to be somewhat distracting - the book was so good, I didn't need the analogy to remember the material.  But then again, I not an author - so what do I know!

All-in-all, I would highly recommend the book.  It aligns well with many MT methods.  I find the material applicable almost on a daily basis and especially useful when I am planning how to influence individuals around big, complicated efforts.

I  agree with mwdonohue that the book is well worth the $9.99 on Amazon. I also just posted a full review of the book under the "book reviews" section of the site if you want to check it out.

Enjoy!
