I CANNOT imagine what my life would be like had I not found the Career Tools podcast!!  As someone who has a past of very positive managerial and peer feedback reviews, the last two years have been more than challenging and have completely diminished my well being.  Last December the two year roller coaster fell off the track when I was handed a "performance improvement plan" from my direction-LESS manager - Me?  What?!?!  Needless to say, I did not take it well but thankfully that rock bottom spiral has only made me to be, what I feel is 210% better (and I'm still improving my professionalism rapidly).

You guys hit everything spot on, all the questions that I ponder the who? what? why? and how? on.  I was ecstatic when I found the bad review, my boss is angry with me and the my boss finds fault in everything I do podcasts last night.  I have been able to stay calm through all this misfortune and little did I know, the negativity increased X100 since the PIP and keeps increasing (now I think she's just testing me, but I have mastered the game face and reactions).

Anyway, I could go on forever with gratitude, you guys fricken' rock!!  I wish I would have found you sooner and although you should be a household name by now with your talent and the therapy your show provides, I'm keeping this my little secret!!

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

Torri

 Torri,

I listen to the podcasts while on my old school nano while I am at the gym; Mark and Mike are more inspiring and motivational than any of  my tunes these days!  Good luck with your issues at work- hey--at least you have a job!  I CAN say, when I decided to use the info after 4 months of being a stay at home mom by choice (its the first and last for a few years here, and I knew to take the time- a good business decision actually)- it was the quickest refresher ever- I have had two consultt offers I have turned down, and this week two phone interviews with an invite back for a real live one at both.  I am positive the podcasts have contributed to my job search efforts.

ya, they frickin' rock.

Amy
