Just saw an article on LinkedIn about 3 books Jeff Bezos has asked his top executives to read (article: http://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20130925133311-291225-amazon-ceo-jeff-bezos-had-his-top-execs-read-these-three-books?trk=tod-home-art-list-large_0)
The Effective Executive by Peter Drucker
The Innovator's Solution by Clayton Christensen
The Goal by Eliyahu Goldratt
I picked up both Drucker's and Goldratt's books based on the MT recommendations. I haven't read the Christensen book, but based on the other two selections I'm going to pick it up.
Thanks
There's a half price book store near me and at lunch I picked up The Goal. They also had a copy of Drucker's book (mine had walked off). I also posted a link to the Bezos post in my organization's social media space.
That was an effective use of my lunch hour.
Thanks again.
