My boss just announced that he is resigning and effective immediately I am the "Interim CIO". A few issues, #1 I just started a month ago and I am still working to get my bearings and #2 I really want to become the permanent ASAP. What are some high level things I can do, casts I can revisit, and/or books I can reference to make this as smooth a transition as possible.
Any help you can provide will be great.
Brief Your Business
Listen to the series of MT podcass on "Managing through mergers and acquisitions." There is a portion of cast discussing "how to brief your business". This outlines the helpful information you need to know as a CIO taking over a new group. If you want more information, PM me. I'm a CIO.
