Hi,

after my old suitcase broke, I have to buy a new one and would like to hear if anyone has suggestions.
I am looking for a big suitcase, which I use mainly for family travel but also for occasional business trips (9 out of 10 times I am only have carry on, but if I do shopping, I usually take my biggest suitcase).

What I am looking for is the following:
- above 100 litres (that is typically the biggest in a series)
- extremely durable
- light (less than 5kg)
- price below 1200 US $

Any tips?

If they're available where you are, Briggs & Riley makes superb luggage that has a lifetime replacement and repair warranty that covers incidental damage as well.

Briggs & Riley luggage very rarely goes for less than retail price and is pricey but well worth it.

I also recommend getting a somewhat uncommon color (not black).

Thank you Ron,

interesting, that is also what my research has shown. I am a bit put off by the weight, but have to compare to my previous suitcase. Probably that is something I have to comprimise on.

Best regards,
