Hi, MT community - I'm hoping to get a thread going about enhancement requests for Roadmap. It's a great app for tracking your Trinity Rollout. Here's my two cents:
- For reporting feedback, I'd love to be able to track more instances of feedback each week. I'm up to 5 instances of feedback per day (thanks for the rubberband trick! It's works like a charm). I only have four directs, which means I only have spots to "get credit" for 20 instances of feedback per week. This means my dashboard doesn't really reflect my progress accuratly.
- Along the same lines, a way to report or "get credit" for skip level feedback would be great. This would actually be solved by more room for each direct, since you could just lump your skip level feedback under the relevent direct. Tracking the individual skip who received feedback isn't as improtant to me as noting that I gave some feedback.
How about everyone else? Any other good feature requests out there for Roadmap?

Can you help me understand what you mean about skip level feedback? Are you delivering feedback to your skips or just data to your directs? Or are they delivereing it? I'd love to help if I can.
Skip Level Feedback
Hi, Kate - Thanks! I'm on a 12 day streak of 5/day. I'm pretty psyched about it.
I find I end up delivering feedback to my skips 3 or 4 times a week. I think it's really two categories:
(1) I have one skip who is working closely with me on a project for 5 or 6 weeks, so I'm giving him feedback related to the project. I'm doing project o3s w/ him (his manager is still doing normal o3s w/ him as well), so maybe just add him as a direct in Roadmap temporarily?
(2) I've also been doing a little bit of positive feedback on little things I see (behavior while running meetings, timely status updates, etc.) with other skips. Often I'll give data to my directs to deliver feedback on, but sometimes I notice something positive and want to say something!

Yes, for now I would say that you could add him since you’re in a project situation. In general, I would recommend praise rather than feedback for your skips. And only rarely. It would usually be more effective to give that information to your directs so that they could deliver more feedback to THEIR directs. That way they get the practice. Maybe someday they’ll be as prolific as you!

p.s. I still want more spots to log feedback! Those of us w/ less than 5 directs can't get credit for our 5 pieces of feedback per day.
