Just want to introduce myself to the community. My name is Sarah Haigbrown and I am currently working for a property software company. The company has been going for 10 years and recently undergone a massive change to its business model so it's effectively a startup. Unlike a traditional startup however the company is very lucky to already have a customer base to sell the new products. It’s a small company of five people in the core team, with at least five contractors working ad hoc around the world.
I’ve discovered the Manager Tools podcast as I wanted to learn more about being a manager. This was back in October 2012. For two months solid I listened to virtually every single podcast in the Manager Tools published since 2008, and I am absolutely AMAZED by the wealth of knowledge that Mark and Michael has to offer. In the first week of January I compiled all the action steps I needed to take from listening to the podcasts, and I am now in the process of actioning them. So from time to time I will be asking for some advice in the forum when I face any road blocks.
If you want to know more about me, feel free to go to my website which is in my signature below. I’m happy to connect to anyone on Linked In, Facebook and Twitter. You can find my social media profiles through my website too.
I hope to get to know some people on this forum, and I’m very excited to be part of this community.
