Hi All

You can now set your default Outlook calendar meeting / appointment duration to 45minutes.

File>Options>Calendar>Calendar Options> Set default meeting duration to 60minutes AND "end appointments and meetings early" by 15minutes for 1 hour meetings. Then close outlook and repopen, new meetings will now be 45minutes long. I think this is only in the newer version of outlook, I'm not sure exactly which release added the feature though.

This has annoyed me for years, always having to manually change the time for every meeting. So I googled it, found and implemented the solution in about 5 minutes.

I wonder what else I do everyday that I could google and save myself some time.

Hope this helps someone else.

Tom
