I am a sales manager and I am trying to work out my accomplishments. In my role I do a lot of project work and I find that I keep falling back to thinking of the projects as accomplishments. The problem I have is that the industry I work in is very cyclical. It is hard to quantify success by sales count as the amount of sales we achieve fluctuates greatly based on the time of year and how much marketing our company does. Is it OK to use an accomplishment even if you can’t really quantify it?
