Hello MT community,
I'm looking to see if anyone has a contact manager or address book software product that they'd recommend. I'm looking for something to save and update my contacts on my personal laptop, that would ingest some of my digital accounts (gmail/outlook) and could be backed up (exportable).
I'm a convert for MT's advice that you should have a personal copy of your email contacts and other address info. I deviate and have them saved on my personal laptop in an excel file, rather than on paper. At this point in my life, I'm better at maintaining the safety of my digital documents. I routinely update it and back it up in multiple locations along with some other important documents I always want access to (resumes, career management documents, and training certificates). However, the excel file I've been using is less than ideal and has always been a work in progress. I'm searching but there are a lot of bad products out there. If anyone had a software tool they'd recommend, I'd sincerely appreciate it.
