Does an app that allows employees to anonymously voice concerns/opinions in front of their peers, and solicit anonymous peer comment, pose an opportunity for communication between managers and their directs? Or is demand for the app a signal that manager-direct relationships are too weak to sustain open communication?

Getthememo [https://getthememo.com/] allows employees to comment and upvote/downvote anonymously, so concerns with real traction will gain visibility. Managers may communicate, but only under their real names.

I have no relationship to this company or its partners. But I'd like to hear some feedback on what people think of the concept, or any experience using it in practice.
