When you share your life's work and experience with us through your podcasts, and you do it so freely and graciously, here's what happens:
It makes me feel a tremendous sense of gratitude.
Average people like myself are able to improve their position and standing without it costing a fortune. Expensive training keeps the elite on the upward climb of self-development while the rest of us struggle, trying to find information and willing teachers with practical experience (rare).
It makes me think you are more than just a couple of guys out for a buck. It makes me think you are actually enlightened visitors from another place, disguised as a couple of ordinary guys… here to teach us how to be better people.
It helps non-managers and new managers (like me) to know what to expect as they climb the ladder. It helps us get prepared *before* we encounter difficult situations.
It helps us improve not just our work relationships, but ALL of our relationships.
It helps us be more better communicators. (j/k)
So thank you. Even though I really can’t afford it now, I will be attending your San Francisco Session in 2008. I wish I could do one sooner, but I am certain it will be worth the expense and the wait.
I believe in you, and I follow your guidance without prejudice and without modification. It works. By golly, it works!

Can I give you some feedback?
Hey I noticed you never got a reply to this post... sometimes when someone says exactly what you are also thinking, it's not easy to think of anything to add!
Can I give you some feedback?
The point might be, that you asked "can I give you some feedback" but they never answered "yes"...
I overlooked this post when it first came up and can only say "congratulations!". You managed to capture how I feel but never would be able to express in such an elegant way.
Thank you P!

Can I give you some feedback?
P-
My apologies. I have been absent for too long.
Mike and I don't recommend giving feedback in writing, so our first response is caution when we get notes like yours. BUT, that is our error in this case, as clearly we understand the spirit of your note.
THANK YOU. It means a great deal to us that you trusted our recommendations that you tried them, and it means even more that you got good results from them.
We're doing this for YOU, and golly we're glad you're here.
