 Hi All,

I'm currently working on a contingency planning process for our department and want to ensure it's set up as a regular review process.
My question is what do you do?

How often do you review this? What "development" actions do you take with the people that are seen to be the "next in line"?

Appreciate any input.

Kind Regards

I review contingency plans once a year. For my work schedule that usually means in the spring. The contingency, at a minimum, involves reviewing the staffing matrix to develop cross-training strategies, check support /vendor contacts, field test alternative communication channels, etc.

Continuous coaching and development are core responsibilities of a leader. In my view, that activity never stops.
