Just wondering if people at Career Tools have an opinion about scheduled perf reviews vs continuous reviews? I just joined an organization which is switching from having semi-annual performance cycles to using http://www.zugata.com/ and not having long-form written reviews. How do such systems play out in practice?

My guess is MT would say feedback is ongoing, so don't save it up for annual or quarterly, or monthly.

The science says having goals improves performance. But beyond that the scientific evidence is not clear. So annual vs semi-annual reviews, I have not seen the science to proof one way or the other.
