Question: Has anyone tried the strategies in this book and have any input on how they work or don't work?

The gist of this book is that it gives you some very specific strategies for dealing with certain types of people who are difficult to work with.  You use these strategies to keep from being derailed by people that you have little to no ability to give them feedback to change - for example a peer or client.

For example, one type is "A Sniper" who is a person who makes cutting remarks at people/situations in public that do not have a positive side of how to fix the problem.  It gives specifics on how to stop the person from doing that effectively without open warfare in the meeting.
