Robert Quinn has written two excellent books on leadership and change. Deep Change, Discovering the Leader Within; and Building the Bridge as You Walk on It, a Guide for Leading Change.

I enjoyed both but inhaled Building the Bridge. In it he explores "8 practices for entering the fundamental state of leadership"

Each practice explores the tension between polar qualities that draw us into creative leadership states.
