Hi all,
After being promoted to a Manager last year and using heavily Manager Tools material, I'm quite happy about my career and skills development in overall. However, I did notice my skills are not that good when it comes to finance, especially budget.
Since finance/budget is an essential management skill, I feel I really need to improve in this area for the better of my career.
Could you please advice to me some books/blogs/readings and so on?
Thanks in advance!

and
2. Accounting for Non-accountants, David Horner:
(Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Accounting-Non-Accountants-David-Horner/dp/0749465972)
I'm battling my way through these two... It's tough going, it's fairly dry literature and I'm not from a financial background.
Good luck!

The guy behind it also has a book under the same title that has a lot of basic information on a wide range of topics, including finance. He also lists the top 99 books he would recommend in finance. His suggestions include:
