On one of the feedback podcasts you mentioned a 1-minute exercise in which demonstrate various behaviors and ask managers to describe your behavior. What behaviors are you demonstrating?

I've found, like you have, we suck at describing behavior, we just describe our conclusions, e.g., you're anal, your lazy.

It's too complicated to describe here in detail, sorry. But basically, I "act" like a High D, I, S, or C, and then ask folks to observe me doing so.

Again, it's all characterizations, and not raw behaviors, that they "see."

A term I learned was to describe behavior as "sensory specific".
