I recently listened to the "How to Give a Decision Briefing". Loved it. Question ... what tweaks could be made to this approach when presenting to a Client? On a current project, there is a major issue existing around our Engineers' understanding of a technical requirement, and what the Client was expecting. We are very far into the work, and changing now would be huge negative impacts ... though technically possible to do so. I am trying to convince our Project Manager to seek immediate approval from Client to allow us to proceed with current design technically (allows the project to move forward), but sort out the commercial settlement later ... given the catastrophic impacts on the overall project (us, our Client, EPC, and Plant Owner).
