I just had a good interview on Thursday, sent my thank you note out on Friday. How soon should i call and follow up? They said they would be in touch to schedule interview with hiring manager. What do I say when I call? sorry if this has already been answered.
Ideally, you should have determined that at the interview
A really important question to ask at the end of the interview is, "what does your timeline look like for the next steps of the hiring process?". The answer should be something like, "we'll be discussing your interview performance, and we'll be in touch by Tuesday afternoon". Get in touch sometime soon after the expiry of the deadline you were given. If you didn't enquire, I'd give it a week and then call to ask what their timeline is, in a similar manner to the above.
