If you want to see the DISC model in action on television, start watching, or catch up with, the show, Mad Men. Set against the backdrop of the advertising age during the sixties, an untenable display of DISC can be gauged throughout many interactions. There are countless scenes featuring slice of life relationship development involving so many of the behaviors we attempt to manage every day.
In some episodes, I can see the Podcasts and Manager Tools conference role-plays being acted out with strange accuracy. Watch S's drive D's to the edge, only to be their quiet saving grace in the end. Watch I's carelessly wander, leaving C's to annoyingly nip at their heels. It's beautiful.
