As a relatively new member of the community, I would like to lead with an affirmation of the tremendous value provided by all involved.
I am currently gearing up for an interview for a position that I am extremely interested in. My recruiter interview occurred two months ago, and I am preparing to meet with the CEO of the organization (a large non-profit) in two days. I am keeping Horstman's Wager firmly in mind, given that fit is more important than skill set at this point.
In re-living several of the interview-based podcasts, little mention is made of a distinction between interviewing with gatekeepers versus the ultimate decision makers. I believe that the principles of one's preparation and delivery remain the same regardless of the interviewer, although there is room to shift emphasis on particulars. I am curious as to what other folks think about whether there are substantive differences between a recruiter interview and an interview with the boss for a position being pursued.

Nope
There's no appreciable for which you can prepare. Any difference that is evident is a function of individual, rather than role or place in the process.

The rest is known but to God.
Good Luck!
