Okay, I'm sure I'm the only one who didn't see this coming... and it felt so obvious after it hit me!

I've been working on my interview prep notecards (per the interview series) most of the day today. After doing my STAC's for about 25 accomplishments, I have no doubt what my answer to the strength question is... it's a skill that's so far appeared on about 90% of my cards. Gosh, it's almost like these guys planned all this out to work together.

So, was I the only one who didn't see that coming?

Just more proof how awesome Mark and Mike are!!! :D

Dani

PS -- If you've been proscratinating doing this preparation, I really encourage you to just do it! To be candid, I wasn't really excited about it when I woke up this morning. It takes discipline and focus AND is so worth it! I'm only about halfway done with my accomplishments, haven't even practiced yet and already feel hugely more prepared.

I've found the use of a digital recorder invaluable in memorizing the content if the TMAY and accomplishment answers. Not only can you critique the delivery of your answers, but It's way easier to memorize them after playing them over and over.

Dani,

You're not the only one, to be sure.

The Interview Tool is truly awesome. It can help you be a better manager even if you never interview for another job in your career, as it provides insight into your skills, strengths, and character.

Good stuff.
