This has probably been asked before, but can anyone provide some perspective on the best way to introduce connections on LinkedIn? I have a couple of contacts that I would like to introduce to each other and I'm wondering what the best protocol would be for that? Thanks!

Being on the receiving end of this prior, I found an email to both people including LinkedIn links and a note highlighting a skill set was an easy way to start a conversation. Reckon best to end with a generic suggestion for a coffee or pint for them to follow up on.
