Hi from the south island of New Zealand. My husband and I are both Kiwi's born & bread and we have 2 dogs in our family.

My husband recently put me onto Manager Tools as i'm the new manager of a new team of 16 DR. We have been set up a remote call center for the company, viop technology, so we are actually part of a nationwide network of call centers now.

I've always liked admin side of tings so it's the coaching and people management skills I need to hone up on. I've already programmed in weekly coaching - now what can i do with this time to put it to the best use and be vairied?

Any recomendations on what to listen to first would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Sarah

Welcome to MT Sarah! I would recommend the casts on Feedback, One on Ones, and Coaching as the best place to start.

Hello Sarah, welcome to the forums, always glad to have another call center manager here.

Years ago I worked with a Kiwi who used to always say "rattle your dags" and talk about having "shark and tatties" for dinner.

I totally agree with Paul. Starting with Feedback, One-on-ones and Coaching makes sense. Having strong one-on-ones and giving regular feedback (look for the good things... they are all over the place... and give tons of affirming feedback) are a great foundation.

Welcome aboard Sarah. Start with the three topics previously mentioned then think about situations you are involved in and could use advice on. Then find podcasts that fit the situation. You'll be amazed at how immediately actionable M&M's advice is.
