I have been an employee at my location for 20 years. I have been a frontline supervisor for 2 years.

Well today  I just found out that the plant manager is resigning.

I would like to apply for the position.

One of the requirements:

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Operations Management, or other technical integrated supply chain discipline

I'm 25 hours short of my degree.

How should i approach this interview, knowing that this is a basic qualification?

If you think you can do the job, then apply. A natural upwards step should not feel like a stretch, but as if you're truly ready to take it on.

aftr twenty years, a bs would seem minor, unless the company needs some eligible to register as a PE.
