I have been interested to here the podcast giving advice on deciding on your minimum salary. Taking into account other benefits such as health packages etc.
It struck me almost straight away that this makes entering a salary using a search tool very difficult. Should i rather concerntrate on more important factors such as the job i want or the location i would like to work in.
It seems to me that the idea that i search on job specifics, location and salary are no longer valid and what i should do is concerntrate on the aspects (maybe the work itself) and spend more time considering if a job in a far away location would be acceptable if there were other factors in its favour.
I would be very interested to know if there is a better way to use job sites such as Monster etc in view of the advice given in these podcasts.
