LinkedIn has announced a new profile layout where the skills and expertise section will be higher and more prominent. This also coincides with the new "endorsement" feature. I had only dabbled with the skills section before, but now I really need to pay attention to it.
I'm interested to know what the CTMT community thinks of the new section and the new layout. Any tips for using it effectively?
Any recruiters out there - do you / will you use that section? to what extent?
I did find an article that was helpful, especially these 2 points:
1. Don't make the skills section a laundry list. Choose specific skills.
2. Use it to differentiate yourself.
