One thing I struggle with is having a wide range of leveling for directs. This is a challenge for one primary reason right now, they all are in the same job category and track, and all do very similar things.
The directs range from a level 4 to a level 7, and I'm in a situation where I haven't been able to influence any change in career/job tracks.
Any manager tools podcasts you recall or other readings that you think could be helpful here? Any other thoughts?
