Regarding the recent series on "Coaching the Meeting Delegation", one of my directs found a great benefit to him and me.

We have been employing the meeting delegation since we heard it last month. What a terrific idea. Everyone on our team is on-board. My top person has been handling them for the past month or so and now it's time to hand off to the second person. His suggestion to me was that HE does the training for the new person. The best way to learn something is to train it, right? That saves me time too! Now when I evaluate the new person, I not only evaluate their meeting skills, but now well the trainer did getting them ready. Sounds like a win all the way around to me.
