Hello,
I will be taking over a section of about 12 people, previous to this I only supervised 2 people. I'm slightly intimidated, partially due to the fact that the person I'm taking over for was pretty good at several aspects of the job and well liked.
In a nutshell, what I'm lacking (or at least I see it this way) is the confidence peice, and that sort of thing tends to "come through".
During one of my interviews I made it clear that I wanted to move up in the organization, but only if I'm effective. I meant that. If I'm not good at inspiring, I don't want to stand in the way of the group.
Any tips on leading and especially inspiring people?
