I recently was asked to start a statewide meeting with staff who do not report to me. Is there a cast that can help with leading a new project like this?
Thanks,
Chris

Sprinkled in with the podcasts Mark, Mike, Dani, and Wendii perodically mention the detailed organization and *checklists* they have developed to prepare for a Manager Tools conference. (Also, refer to the hotel logistics casts for ideas you can use.)
Best of good fortune to you! Be a great host...meet the needs of your guests and I'm confident you'll do well.
Thank you tlhausmann. I love listening to the podcasts, but was unsure where to start. Being asked to lead this type of meeting is unusual in my work setting. In fact, my peers and I were debating wether it is a meeting, a project, or an initiative. Either way, you have provided a great starting point. Thanks again.
