As a new manager I recently participated in a "New Manager Assimilation".
The program was similar to this: http://www.bizhrguide.com/new-manager-assimilation
My directs and myself found this to be a very useful tool. I think it really got us a strong head start in understanding each other before having to learn the hard way. Anyone else had any experience with this concept?
