I just finished listening to the two seeries podcast. One thing that I would like you to comment on is what happens to running the meetings during the coaching?
I assume that since you told everyone that Mike is going to run our staff meetings he will have to continue doing this even if he is struggling. Or should you give him a time out and come back later?

Yep, Mike gets to keep running things even if he's struggling. That's how we learn. We try, and do, and fail, and try, and do, and fail, and then try and do and succeed.
And if someone on the team snickered, they'd have some feedback coming from me, as well.
