I have an employee who is overly self critical of themselves, even though they are one of our highest achievers. I wondered if someone could point me in the direction of some material that will help me coach them to be less self critical? I have searched the site and couldn't find a relevant cast.

How is it affecting the team and the organization?  Address that.

Perhaps this is just the way they motivate themselves.  I've known salesfolks who ramp up their debts and expenses as a way to force themselves to earn lots of commissions, and many others who "hide" an escalating chain of achievements from themselves, so they feel the need to push to continue to do more and better.
