I had been working as field manager on the east coast of the U.S. for 19 years until my move to a corporate job this February. I have training & development role in a department that never had one in the past.The transition has been challenging.
In the field, MT & CT made me a better professional in every way. At corporate, it's been even more important. Why? Because I came in the door with the knowledge that focusing on relationships, understanding personal tendencies (DISC) and executing the right, boring, consistent management stuff gets results.
Since 2008, the guidance I've absorbed from Mike, Mark & Wendii has propelled me beyond where I would've been without it. I am really am grateful to have found them randomly on iTunes AND for their dedication to the craft.
I don't participate in the forums much, but I'd like to change that. I've seen and done a lot of stuff the wrong way in the past. I'm getting better and trying to bring others along with me. But oh, how they resist!
