As I have risen in the ranks at my company the past few years, I have now about 25 staff reporting to me. I have a handful of DRs, which manage the remaining folks.

I have found I miss (or completely don't have) the relationships with my DR's DRs. (two levels down). What can I do to foster a connection with these folks?

How about skip level meetings and mentoring (not of someone in your direct line of command) someone a few levels below you.
