I'm a relatively new manager (1.5 years). My first managerial role happens to be as a General Manager over two businesses.
We currently do not have performance reviews. I do have the authority to make this happen company wide, and I'm in the process of developing my own type of performance review; based on the annual review podcasts.
So far, I've put together a review form and a self assessment form (similar, but not the same). If there is another format that anyone has found 'effective', that might save me from having to keep tweaking our forms from year to year in pursuit of "annual review perfection" (as if).
Does anyone have any suggestions to any existing 'effective' review formats? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
