After the recent email prompting us to ask ourselves if our work is meaningful I've been thinking about that question.... for us the answer is a resounding YES. We help people connect socially and have more play / fun in their lives , something I believe is constantly being squeezed out of our day to day. (we organize social sport leagues and evetns for adults www.unitedsocialsports.com)

The question to the group is how to help communicate our impact and to show the meaning we have on our customers, to my team.

Anyone have any ideas or examples of how they have shown their impact on their clients to their internal team in a way that felt authentic?

Each of your team members will see the meaning in their work differently, depending on their DISC profile, but a few ideas:

Take them to one your sports leagues, get them talking to and asking questions of your customers.

Ask your customers to add a 60 second video to your social media (add a prize for the best, obviously) and cut the best into a short film

Show them some stats of the uptake rates and relate that to participants physical and mental health and wellbeing

Form a team or two from the office and get stuck in with everyone else

Hope that starts some ideas rolling here

Thank you for the ideas Tim! Some of those things we are already doing (office sports team, etc) but good ideas all around.

I'd like to start working on an "Impact Report" that compiles the impact and engagement in the community we are making.

I'm curious - have you done anything specific for your team you thought was effective?
