How do you work with skips in projects which have been directs in the past? I learned the last weeks, that some of them might think, that they are my directs again. So I am getting involved in daily business and the directs of my direct (their manager) are skipping her.

There's a cast for PM O3's. Basically, you should still talk to them as if it were an O3, but without the "future" coaching included. During the O3, you could ask things like, "So, what did (your boss) say when you told her about that tasking/problem?" or whatever. Make sure YOU make it clear that they're still to report to their boss. If they don't, then let their boss take care of it. Your job is to insure they do the tasks assigned, on time, and on budget, not to referee between them and their boss.
