I mentioned to an associate about a job I had applied to. Her reply to me was that a friend had been interviewed for the position and the interviewers were actually high school students. They are working in a work study program and in this program they conduct the interview while the managers and hiring team sit back, listen, and watch. They offer no feedback and the whole process is done by the students.

If called, would I behave differently? Would I answer questions differently? Shoud I be worried that they may ask me about who my favorite artist is and I say something like Bellafonte?

I am concerned.

Is this a position at a school? Because otherwise, that is rather strange.

I've routinely seen students involved in interviews when the person being hired has a major teaching role. However....that's not the same as doing the entire interview.  Since this is second hand info, is it possible it's been a little exaggerated?

Also, just answer "Lady Gaga" to any musical questions ;p

Yes it is a school, a leadership school.
